About the Golden Gate Area Council
Golden Gate Area Council is a local council of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and is one of five councils that serves the San Francisco Bay Area in California. The council’s offices are located in Alameda, Pleasant Hill, and San Leandro California. It serves chartered organizations and BSA units in Alameda County, Contra Costa County, Lake County, Napa County, San Francisco County, Solano County (except the cities of Dixon, Rio Vista, and Vacaville). The council is located in BSA Western Region Area III.
